Weight-loss companies have long relied on TV for customer acquisition. Noom recognized early on that the opportunity to attract new customers on Facebook was historically untapped, and that competitors relied on repurposed TV content which drives inconsistent and poor performance on digital channels. Noom’s internal team was able to scale their spend rapidly, but like most advertisers who approach a 7-figure monthly budget, creative fatigue became the greatest limiting factor for growth, so they teamed up with TubeScience. We conducted R&D on Noom personas, identified successful concepts for video ads, wrote scripts, did end-to-end production for all the videos (casting, shooting, editing, etc) and identified new audiences.
